Midnight Madness

October 25th, 2013 | Ryan Gannon

Last week, Midnight Madness was held in Bryant's main gym. Centered around the varsity winter sports teams, this is the pep rally that gets the student body - and the teams themselves - pumped for the upcoming season.

The indoor track and swimming teams each performed a dance to introduce themselves and get the crowd loose. The Bryant cheer and dance teams put on impressive performances to keep everyone engaged, while contests such as spinning relays kept everyone laughing. The main event of the night was the basketball teams. After each team member  is introduced (each to uproarious applause), the girls team showcased a remarkably extensive dance routine, followed by the men who took the crowd with an incredible show of dunking skill.

Whether you're watching a football game, basketball game, or any other sporting event, you can always expect an impressive and entertaining performance from Bryant's Division I athletes. In my opinion, the best part of Bryant sports is that it brings out our school spirit, as evidenced by Midnight Madness.
