O.L.
November 21st, 2011 | Madison Lichtmann
After coming to orientation and having an awesome Orientation Leader I knew it was something I wanted to pursue as well.
I had to come early to orientation because I had cheerleading tryouts the day before it started, so I had the privileged of meeting all of the orientation leaders. I got to ask them all questions one on one and learn about their lives. It was an amazing experience and I am so grateful I got that extra night to meet all of them and calm my nerves. That is part of the reason I was so excited to sign up to become an OL. I would also love the opportunity to help ease incoming students nerves, answer their questions, and tell them about the experiences I have been a part of! So I filled out an application and handed it in, which guaranteed a group interview. Sixty people interviewed and from there twenty five are picked to participate in an individual interview. After interviewing Monday night I found out that I was one of 25 chosen! I am so excited for my interview over break and really hope I get the position. It would be an awesome opportunity.
