Associate’s degrees are the missing link

Ross Gittell, a leading economic forecaster in New Hampshire, tells Bryant's RI Economic Summit that R.I. is weak in providing training for jobs that require more than a high school diploma but less than a bachelor's degree. Forty percent of future job openings will be for people with associate's degrees, but RI ranks 32nd in the nation for the percentage of its population with an associate's degree.
