CEO of General Motors to address 813 graduating seniors at 148th Commencement

Honorary degrees will be presented to Daniel Akerson of General Motors, Ellen Alemany of Citizens Financial Group, Rabbi Leslie Gutterman of Providence's Temple Beth-El and World War II veteran and POW survivor Louis Zamperini.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Daniel Akerson (left), chairman and CEO of General Motors, will address 813 graduating seniors and their guests at Bryant University's undergraduate Commencement ceremony Saturday, May 21.

A procession of students, faculty, administrators, Board of Trustees members, and the honorary degree recipients begins at 9:30 a.m. on the Bryant University campus. The ceremony, held under a large tent, begins at 10 and is expected to end at 12:30 p.m. The ceremony will be webcast live.
