PwC announces national finalists in xTREME accounting competition

A team from Bryant University is heading to PwC's national  xTAX finals Jan. 26-27 in Washington, D.C. There, the Bryant team will compete against teams from Binghamton University, Brigham Young University, University of South Carolina and University of Virginia.

"We're excited about the growth of the xTREME Games. While the number of participants has increased over time, the program's goal of helping students better understand the vast career opportunities in public accounting and connecting them with professionals in the industry has not wavered,"¬† Alexa Hamill, U.S. campus recruiting leader at PwC, said in the company's press release. "The characteristics exhibited by winning teams — critical thinking, presentation skills, teamwork, and time management — have also endured."
