Confucius Institute offers 12-week Chinese language courses for K-8, adults; private tutoring also available

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The U.S.-China Institute and Confucius Institute at Bryant University are offering introductory Chinese language classes for students in grades K-8 and adults beginning Oct. 4. The classes are:
Chinese for Young Learners (beginning; recommended grades - K-8)
Class meets every Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m. Oct. 4-Dec. 20 on the Bryant campus. The course is taught by an experienced instructor from the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan. Cost for the 12-week course: $300
Chinese for Adults (beginning)
Class meets every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 4-Dec. 20 on the Bryant campus. The course is taught by an experienced instructor from the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan. Cost for the 12-week course: $450
Private tutoring
One-on-one classes taught by Bryant students from China who have extensive experience tutoring American students. The schedule is flexible. The cost for 10 sessions is $200.
In addition to the scheduled classes, a variety of services and resources are available to students who are enrolled.
